NOTES:
Acolytes whose names are underlined are first year acolytes
and must have individual instruction before they take on the
role of server for the first time. Arrangements should
be made with Larry Bouton or Matt Hopkins. The instruction is usually
conducted on Saturday or at some other time mutually convenient
to the acolyte and to Matt or me. But no one will
be permitted to serve for the first time until the instruction has
been completed, and the responsibility for setting up this instruction
lies with the acolyte.
If a first year acolyte cannot be present to serve
two Sundays in a row as assigned, PLEASE EXCHANGE THE ASSIGNMENT
WITH ANOTHER FIRST YEAR ACOLYTE WHO CAN. Otherwise, the
chance to serve two Sundays in a row (and, hopefully, to improve
the acolytes chance of remembering what is involved in serving)
will be lost. |
